Client: Crocs – Vehicle Roles: 3D Scene Replacement, Interactive Rive Development, 3D Motion Design, 2D Motion Design.
Client Challenge: Worked with the team at Vehicle Works on the new launch of Croc’s exclusive 711 shoes. Crocs needed to showcase their fabulous collaboration with excitement and flair. For the project they needed a heavy scene replacement. View Croc’s 711 page
Personal Project: I created a 3D product designed video as well as an interactive Rive carousel. Check it out below.
Interactive Rive Demo
Roles: 3D Modeling and Design, Creative Design, Rive Development.
Rive is my latest best friend. I originally started my career (with my multimedia degree) as a creative Flash Developer. But ultimately Flash died.
But now there is Rive, and it is my favorite new toy. A lot like flash I can create interactive and complex animations and design them into websites AND mobile apps. Games, carousels, and so much more. I love that this type of work has come back in my life.
Wrapped in a 711 Drip – 3D Product Video
Roles: 3D Modeling and Motion Design, Nexus Liquid Simulation
Of all the collaborations and styles Crocs makes, the 711 themed platform shoe is by far the best looking. I had an incredible adventure modeling, texturing and rendering liquid simulations to this motion video.
Nexus is X-particles’ latest GPU based simulation system. With it I managed to create the liquid drips and crown splashes. I think I prefer it over Realflow.
Elevating Your Style
Roles: 3D Scene Replacement, 2D Motion Design.
One of the biggest challenges was that there were no trackers in the scenes, to help with motion tracking. In addition to the scene replacements I helped with some of the other motion graphic effects involving the Croc’s Jibbitz (little attachments to the shoe) and more.
